Leawood, Kan.—November 19, 2012— CBIZ, Inc. is pleased to announce that Nancy Mellard, Executive Vice President and General Counsel for the Employee Services Division, and National Leader of CBIZ Women’s Advantage, is the recipient of three awards from the 9th annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business. Mellard was honored with the gold Stevie Award for “Maverick of the Year,” and the silver awards for “Mentor/Coach of the Year,” and “Women Helping Women- Business.”
“Maverick of the Year” recognizes the achievements of females who have implemented positive change in their companies and/or industries. “Mentor/Coach of the Year” distinguishes the accomplishments of women who provided support to other women in the workplace. “Women Helping Women- Business” showcases women who provided assistance to women in their communities.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, and the organizations they run. The 2012 awards received entries from 17 nations and territories.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners during a dinner at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
