Kansas City Fire Fighters Hold Fundraiser for Brother With Cancer

The Greater Kansas City Association of Fire Fighters are coming together to help fellow Fire Fighter, Jerry Bayton with financial assistance. Jerry was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in June of this year and has been battling this terrible disease for some time now. While fighting cancer, Jerry’s family has been struggling to make ends meet. KC’s Bravest are raising money to help the family. Fellow fire fighters and paramedics are shaving their heads, holding a silent auction and raffle this Saturday, November 17, 2012, to show their support for Jerry and his family. The event will be from Noon to 4pm at the Association’s meeting hall.

Kansas City fire fighters and paramedics are committed to supporting fellow emergency workers like brother Jerry and his battle to fight cancer. Most members of The Greater Kansas City Association of Fire Fighters and their families have been affected at some point by the devastating effects of cancer and want to show their support for all survivors and patients diagnosed.

WHEN: Saturday, November 17, 2012 from Noon to 4pm

WHERE: The Greater Kansas City Association of Fire Fighters Gladden Meeting Hall 6320 Manchester Avenue Kansas City, Missouri 64133
