Community Food Drive for Harvesters, Free admission with your donation

Kansas City, KS, November 1, 2012. On Sunday, December 2nd, each Skate City will hold its 3rd Annual Food Drive for Harvesters. Between 4-6pm at our Overland Park and Kansas City locations and between 5-7pm at our Shawnee location, anyone donating at least 2 non-perishable items will be given FREE admission into Skate City that night.

Tis’ the season to be giving and Skate City is teaming u with Harvesters to collect non-perishable food items and personal care items to donate this year. They are asking the community to get involved by giving to others while having a great time with family and friends. On Sunday, December 2nd from 4:00-6:00pm (or 5:00-7:00pm depending on your location, they are offering a FREE skate admission in exchange for your donations. Skate rental is $2.00 is needed. Skate City is located at 7838 Washington Avenue, right behind K-Mart on 78th and State Ave.

“This is a great time to give to others and show our commitment to our community,” said owner, Larry Bishop. “We can make a difference if we try.”
