Green Lantern Car Wash Honors Vets and Active Duty Military Personnel with a Free Wash

In honor of Veterans Day, the Kansas City area Green Lantern Express Service Car Washes at Hwy 152 & I-35 in Liberty, MO; 135th & Black Bob in Olathe, KS; and 151st & Metcalf in Overland Park, KS are participating in the Grace for Vets Free Wash Program by providing a FREE BASIC WASH to all veterans and active duty military personnel.

The FREE BASIC WASH will be available, rain or shine, on Sunday, November 11, from Noon to 7:00 pm. Just say, “I’m a Vet”, or, “I’m active military” to receive your free wash.

Grace for Vets was founded in 2004 by Mike Mountz, owner of Cloister Wash & Lube, in Lancaster, PA. The program continues to grow each year, and currently includes car washes in all 50 United States plus 3 other countries. On Veterans Day 2011, 638 car wash companies operating 1,446 locations washed 119,317 vehicles for veterans and active duty personnel.

Green Lantern looks forward to honoring local service men and women on Sunday, November 11.
