New Laws May Change Homebuyers' Timelines
New regulations for the mortgage business have changed traditional timelines. When you apply for a home loan now, you may need to allow more time before you can move into your new home.
Revised Truth in Lending regulations took effect July 30, 2009. They require mortgage disclosures during the loan process and waiting periods before loans can close.

Kansas City Real Estate Investor Workshop
Workshop: Saturday September 12th 8:30 to 4:30 Johnson County Community College, Overland Park, KS
Dear Kim ,
I have had the privledge to listen to a lot of the top earning real estate investors across the county. Yes they all make money in different ways with real estate, but the one underlying theme for almost all of them is to buy real estate from motivated sellers while leaving the seller's underlying mortgage in place - buying the houses SUBJECT To the existing financing. No Bank Loans, no points up front, no appraisals, none of the fees that eat up a ton of profit.

“KC House Whisperer” Announces Unique “Green” Real Estate Services
(Kansas City, MO) July, 2009 – If you are a Kansas City homeowner or are looking to become a Kansas City homeowner, owning a home can be rewarding and challenging at the same time. Over the lifetime of owning a home a number of important “green” home decisions most likely will arise. When important “green” home decisions do arise; where do you start, how do you proceed and who do you go to for advice and assistance? Wouldn’t it be great if there was a “green” real estate expert who had a broad range of “green” real estate and construction experience and a unique skill set that could consult and advise with Kansas City homeowners to provide solutions to most any important “green” home decision?
