Black Teens Enjoy Bareboating Vacation
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Kansas City, Missouri - November 12, 2009-
When her sons learned to swim while in grade school they had never heard of bareboating, Virgin Islands or catamarans. These words were not “household words” in their home or community. In fact, none of their acquaintances would put the three words together to describe a vacation of a lifetime. After all, their neighborhood landscape was not equipped with public swimming pools. Or private pools for that matter. Vacation was defined as a road trip to a relatives’ house. There it wasn’t a requirement to know how to swim, snorkel or even drive a dinghy.

National Study Reveals Importance of the Professional Endorsement
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In these tough economic times when budgets are shrinking but expectations for increased sales and market share are not, marketers must make sure every marketing dollar is spent as wisely as possible. Key to accomplishing this is to make sure marketers are not just delivering the right message, but delivering that message through the media and channels of communications that are most influential to their targeted consumers.

Heart of America Indian Center: Home Away from Home
October 16, 3-7 p.m. Open House Welcomes the Community
KANSAS CITY, MO – Cheyanne Ingram’s face is the face of the future at Heart of America Indian Center – and that future is bright. “We’re sprucing the place up for our open house,” she smiles, brushing a strand of glossy hair from her forehead. Around her, volunteers splashed with various paint colors bustle about – cleaning, spackling, painting – to prepare for the October 16 event. “We’ve been around for so long, but many people don’t even know we’re here. When we invite the community back, we want it to look nice.” Ingram, the vibrant, young Executive Director of the Center, turns back to her work, dark eyes reflecting the fresh color livening the walls.
