Brain Balance Achievement Center Opens in Overland Park
Brain Balance Achievement Center Opens in Overland Park: Contact: Leslie Breedlove Bus Ph: 913.627.9400 Cell Ph: 913.593.8924 Email: lbreedlove@brainbalancecenters.com BRAIN BALANCE ACHIEVEMENT CENTER OPENS IN OVERLAND PARK, KANSAS A Revolutionary New Approach to Understanding and Helping ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia We are witnessing the epidemic rise in the diagnosis of ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia in children. This article is written to help parents better understand these disorders. There are important questions that need to be answered about these conditions. The first question is “Why?” Why have we seen such an increase in these childhood disabilities over the past two decades? Most parents are told that these are genetic disorders which cause chemical imbalances in the brain. However, these reasons alone cannot explain the meteoric rise of these disorders in our children. Such a dramatic increase can only be explained by environmental influences. The second and probably most important question is “What?” What are these influences and what can be done to help make long term corrections rather than just treating the symptoms? With the increase of these disorders happening at such a rapid rate we can only conclude that current approaches to treatment are not working. Therefore what is needed is a new approach, one that understands and treats children with these unique challenges. Recent research has shown that ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia are the underlining issues involving a hemispheric imbalance. This is caused by a condition known as Functional Disconnection Syndrome. This scientific term means that the two halves of the brain are not electrically balanced and are not communicating with each other normally. To fully understand the world and react to it, we must use our whole brain. Each half of the brain contributes differently to our understanding of and our reactions to the world we live in. When brain activity is unbalanced incoming information is processed improperly resulting in academic, behavioral and social problems. The key to correcting this problem is a “hemispheric or brain based” program. This means that the foundation of the treatment has to be directed toward achieving a balance of the two halves of the brain. A hemispheric based program utilizes various types of environmental and cognitive stimuli that are specific for one hemisphere or the other. To find out more about how ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia may be caused by a Functional Disconnection Syndrome and how a hemispheric based program can help to correct these problems call and register to attend a free informational seminar at the offices of a Brain Balance Achievement Center. To reserve a seat at the next parent event scheduled for Thursday, December 3rd at 7:00 pm at Tomahawk Ridge Community Center (11902 Lowell) please call us at 913-627-9400 or email us at overlandpark@brainbalancecenters.com.Contact: Leslie Breedlove

Language is the key to communication and Spanish is one such key!!
USA, November 2009 - Language is the only means of communication where you can converse with your loved ones near and far away, not only with the people you know but also those who are of importance to you. They may be your colleagues, friends, mates or even professional people you deal with. Language is especially needed when you want to converse with people out of your own country. And the best way to do so is to learn the language and master it, so that there is no difficulty in the required conversation. Lingobasics is one such place where you can learn the required languages according to your need and learn it from scratch. Spanish is one of the very popular languages spoken all over the world. Learn Spanish words forming the basics, which when mastered, one could go on to learn Spanish phrases. Learn Spanish fast and move on to mastering the art of the language.

Using a student response system will better your results
When you've been appointed to teach a group of individuals the basic set of knowledge that they are going to need so that they can perform to the set standards, you've been given a great responsibility. If this group does not learn everything they need, you will be held responsible. It doesn't matter if you are teaching in a school or a seminar room for the company, you need to make sure that your students are going to understand the information you've been assigned to teach them. Having the best set of tools will greatly aid you in this endeavor and using a student response system could prove to be exactly the boost you need to efficiently teach. Just think about how useful the classroom clicker will be.
