Patterson announces Broadway Boulevard development

Greg Patterson…the Champion of Kansas City’s Broadway Boulevard

(Kansas City, Mo.)…Broadway is Greg Patterson’s passion. That is, the grand street in the Kansas City urban core between the Metro’s highly-visible Country Club Plaza and Crossroads District. Patterson serves as president of the Broadway Westport Council. He has lived and worked in the area for thirty years.

Patterson’s latest venture…Broadway Uptown. Patterson put the deal together, serving as developer, broker and owner. Broadway Uptown is made up of three historic buildings built in the 1920’s. The mixed-use space contains over 30,000 square feet of office, retail, and restaurant space. New Café Tandoor, a Northern Indian-Pakistani restaurant, opened up in early September. Other new tenants include the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, Wright-Laird Casting, and Negat Cafe.

“This is a fabulous neighborhood with important assets like the national headquarters of the VFW, KC Life Insurance, Penn Valley Community College, the Uptown Theatre, and fabulous residential communities next door,” says Patterson. “It has been somewhat overlooked as urban development has focused on Downtown, the Plaza and the Crossroads District.”

Patterson specializes in retail/office/industrial leasing and sales, tenant and buyer representation, investment acquisition and sales, development, and urban redevelopment.
