19th DeLaSalle Annual Movie Benefit Slated Nov. 12

KANSAS CITY, MO. (November 2009) — On Thursday, November 12th, the media is invited join Kansas City society for the 19th Annual DeLaSalle Movie Benefit presented by AMC Entertainment at their flagship property AMC Town Center 20 located at 119th and Nall.

Doors open at 6:00 pm
Live program begins at 7:30 pm

This gala has been voted one of Kansas City’s best charitable events. Over 850 guests are invited to enjoy live music and a strolling cocktail buffet before walking the red carpet into the theatre for a private screening of a major Hollywood film not yet released to the general public.

DeLaSalle Education Center provides a safe, flexible learning environment for high school students who need an alternative to the traditional school setting. DeLaSalle features a strong curricular emphasis on literacy, writing, math, and career skill development, but has also structured an intensive program of social and wellness services, crucial to addressing the adult realities of our students’ lives.
The mission of DeLaSalle Education Center is to provide a holistic environment that offers students an opportunity to improve learning and life skills.
