Genesh Inc. appoints Donald R. Simon as its General Counsel

Former Chicago Attorney Joins Team to Support Continued Growth

Lenexa, KS – November 6, 2009: Genesh, Inc., a leading area Burger King franchisee, today announced the appointment of Donald R. Simon as General Counsel.

Simon will provide legal counsel on franchising issues, restaurant and land acquisitions, corporate affairs, and employment matters. He will be based out of the company’s Lenexa, Kansas office and will report to President and CEO Mukesh Dharod.

Previously, Simon was in private practice where he represented entertainment clients in business and intellectual property matters. Prior to this, he held legal positions at Francorp, Inc., a franchise development consulting firm, and Questar, Inc., a special-interest home video producer and distributor.

Simon holds a Bachelor of Arts (Communications) degree from Missouri Southern State College and Juris Doctor and Master of Laws (Intellectual Property) degrees from The John Marshall Law School.
