Online Gift Card Shopping Mall Launched by Local Entrepreneurs
(Overland Park, KS) -- Let’s say you live in Kansas City, and would like to buy a restaurant gift card as a birthday gift for your daughter who lives in Boston. Knowing she loves locally owned eateries, you search the net and find some quaint little Boston restaurants, but none sell gift cards online. So...you pick up the phone and start calling the restaurants, hoping to find one that will take your credit card number over the phone, mail the gift card (along with a birthday greeting from you) to your daughter, and get it there on or before the special day. “It shouldn’t be this hard to buy a gift card!” you think to yourself. SnapGifts.com, a new online retailer, agrees. With SnapGifts it’s easy (a snap, one might say...) to purchase gift cards from nearly 800 retailers, ranging from national franchises and “big box” stores, to top-rated, local businesses in major cities across the country—including Boston.
